Jason Carr
Earning a distinguished degree in jazz studies from Sonoma State University, Jason has been teaching and playing music in the Bay Area for over a decade. As a bassist and multi-instrumentalist he has toured, performed and recorded with countless local artists, including Sean Hayes, Arann Harris, John Craigie, Michael LaMacchia and many others. Jason has been teaching workshops and private students in the Crossroads community since 2010 and has a great deal of experience working with all age groups and skill levels. He has also been director of the middle school band program at Marin Horizon School in Mill Valley since 2012.
